Our wedding was on Oct 24th, 2008 at Almond Morgan Bay, St Lucia. We had 49 people attend. It was perfect. The whole process was amazing and everything we had hoped for from choosing a location to choosing the flowers for the bridal party. Jolene took care of everything. From contacting people in our party – to organizing day trips for the entire group. We decided on the beach, it was beautiful. They did a good job accommodating almost 50 of us in such short notice (there was a fire at our original hotel and we were moved in a weeks’ notice to an upgraded resort). They upgraded us to an ocean view (on Jolene’s request). It was awesome…great times with great friends. Memories that will last our life time.
Thank you for everything you did to help us out Jolene, I know at times we weren’t the easiest group to deal with, especially considering the amount of us. So thank you for making things run so smoothly…despite fires, last minute bookings and the rest. So thank you for making it the best trip of our lives.

Compelled by the desire to have a stress free wedding I researched various resorts and finally settled on this one. I approached Jolene with the resort and a general date and from there she took care of how to get us there. We had 33 guests at our wedding the majority of which booked through Jolene, she ensured everyone was informed by sending updates on flight itinerary, balances & even what to pack! All guests arrived safely and on time at the resort with no travel complaints. We had 4 days prior to our wedding where we relaxed and enjoyed everything the resort had to offer and there was plenty of that. Staying on a larger resort certainly had its advantages when it came to food selection and entertainment options. The Wedding coordinators on the resort helped pull everything together in just one short meeting upon arrival, flowers, vows, cake, meal's, reception all taken care of in under an hour. The actual wedding day was flawless and showed that the resort was well rehearsed for these events. Finally the photo's, this resort has special Photographers dedicated to weddings. Jose was fantastic, he took over 200 photos all of which he gave to us on a CD. My wedding experience, made possible by Jolene, Vision 2000 & the Grande Bahia Principe, Punta Cana could not have been surpassed.

My husband and I chose Sandals Negril for our destination wedding in March 2006. It was absolutely perfect! We had the best time and a very relaxed wedding. It was exactly what we were looking for. The resort was wonderful, the beach was great, and the staff very friendly. We are already thinking about going back for our 5 year anniversary.
Jolene set it all up for us and was very patient with all my questions. We have dealt with Jolene a few times over the years since our wedding and I highly recommend her. She is a great travel agent and really goes the extra mile for her clients. I can't wait to book my next vacation with her! |

Costa Rica, May 19th, 2007, is a day we will never forget!! 101 people at the biggest event of our live!
Karina Martin at JR Canada, was very instrumental in assuring our guests, friends, family and ourselves had our travel arrangements organized, it was also nice to have that ONE point of contact for any questions on flights, times, scheduling, group travel and the like.
Karina was also very instrumental in helping out with the hotel/accommodation options which we put on our website for our guests to see – including prices and pictures of the venues – again, this was a nice option for our guests, as they were able to contact Karina with any questions they had on the places etc.
Even on our way back from Costa Rica, when the airline (American Airlines) failed us and messed up our flights, Karina was there to help us correspond back to the airline to address the issues we faced upon our return.
I would highly recommend using Karina and would use her again without hesitation!
Thanks Karina for helping us coordinate the crowds and following through with GREAT Customer Service – which is hard to find these days! Without your help, I’m afraid we would have a different story to tell.

Hi Elaine,
It was fabulous!
The resort was the perfect size, the food was great and the wedding was more perfect than I had hoped for.
I went onto Trip advisor and left good reviews for the Barcelo as well as the Arenal hotel we stayed at. Hotel Silencio del Campo.
We are already thinking of places to go next winter….
Thanx for all your help, and I’ll give you a shout next fall when we are planning again.

Wedding Date December 10, 2008
My husband and I chose a destination wedding so that we could share our wedding day with friends and family and have a great vacation at the same time. Jolene handled all our group's travel arrangements and helped to make all the individual travel bookings from various locations seamless. She was also the initial liaison between us and the wedding coordinator at the hotel.
We stayed at the Barcelo Mayan Tropical in the Mayan Riviera. It is a beautiful hotel with an exceptional beach area. We chose a very basic wedding package and the quality was incredible. We had a beach wedding with a live band and private dinner following. The hotel does all the work and adds many special little touches to make each wedding party feel special and completely enjoy their day.
We really appreciated all Jolene did for us not only in organizing the trip for our group but also with respect to all the little details that come up with groups and weddings. Jolene was wonderful and I have no hesitation recommending her expertise to others planning similar trips and booking my next vacation through her! |

Hotel and Destination: Best of Italy Tour for Honeymoon , Italy |

The trip was fantastic!! Insight and our tour guide Anna were amazing and gave us a wonderful honeymoon that we will never forget! They made sure that in every city we had the best rooms and by the end of the trip we had made so many new friends from all over the world. We both agreed that if we had been on a self guided tour of Italy we would have spent too much time arguing about directions and trying to deal with the language barrier. This way we just sat back and enjoyed being with each other in one of the most amazing countries in the world. Thank you so much for all your help booking this! |

My husband and I chose the Barcelo Maya Tropical resort for our destination wedding in April 2009. With no idea how to get started on planning a destination wedding...I was so glad my husband's dad gave me Jolene's contact information. She took care of everything for our 40 guests (with some departing from different cities) that stayed at the Tropical resort with us. With Jolene's expertise and knowledge in handing large groups/wedding groups, she made things run smoothly from beginning to departure day. I couldn't have done it without her!!
The hotel was absolutely beautiful with great beach and pool areas. Service, food and drinks were all increadible, with only good things heard by all guests.
Our wedding was held on the beach at 1:00pm with live music and champagne to toast after the ceremony. This is exactly what we wanted, the background was amazing in our photos and we wouldn't have done it any other way.
The wedding coordinator at the hotel was great, we arrived on Sunday, we met with her on Monday and made all the decisions for the wedding then. Everything turned out great.
I would recommend anyone to this resort...for a wedding or vacation!!

We would not have done our wedding any other way! Jolene organized everything for our group prior to and the wedding coordinator at our hotel managed all of the details when we arrived. The staff went over and above customer service in all areas of the hotel, and the wedding location on the beach is located by a fish sanctuary so the ceremony was very private. The photography took over 255 images of which we picked 112 and turned out fabulous. All of the details of the wedding were absolutely “no problem, mon”. From Mike Friesen
Hi Jolene,
Thank you so much for all of your work and organizing our trip. The Riu was great and the staff were extremely friendly. The wedding went very well and we met with the wedding coordinator on Monday. It was too bad we had to leave so early on Saturday but I would definitely recommend a Riu to anyone. We also walked around the Tropical Palace which was similar to ours but I would have to say our beach was much nicer. I am glad we did not stay at the Sunset at the Palms resort as apparently the resort is not on the beach but rather you have to walk across the street to get to the beach and the beach for that resort was quite small and did not have any palm trees.
We are still in the midst of trying to get back to reality and will be sending you some pics as soon as we get our bearings :)
Thank you for all of your hard work. I would recommend you to anyone. From Tammy Korchmar |

February 22, 2008 was our wedding date. We got married at the Iberostar Varadero in Cuba.
We had chosen this hotel based on a referral from one of my clients. Everybody was extremely nice and cooperative.
"Rachel was very accommodating and informative, it was nice to work with somebody that had a lot of experience. We wanted to get married in a stress and hassle free way and this was the best way to do it and Rachel made everything happen!! Everything went off without a hitch and our 28 guests had a blast too!!"

Got engaged in Cuba! and got married in Vegas
Agent who assisted: Karina Martin:
Christmas 2007 came with a new beach bag and a great surprise…an all-inclusive trip to Cuba! Matthew, my boyfriend at the time, had worked hard with Karina to come up with a very special gift. We were both very excited about the trip and working with both Karina and Bobbi, booked a week away in March, 2008.
A few nights before take off, the Friday evening at 5 pm no less, the dreaded happened. Karina had just received a phone call from the tour company and let us know they decided that they had overbooked the hotel and changed our reservation to the sister resort – a child friendly one. Both Matthew and I love children however, we had chosen the original resort because it was adults only as well as had a great spa and a lot of activities. The new place came with children, no spa and less activities. Since we were so excited about this trip, this turn of events was a nightmare to us.
Karina took it in stride for us. Calm and composed, she stayed late and was on the phone for ages, negotiating, researching and keeping in touch with us as to our options. As a result, we ended up canceling our trip with the one tour company and in a matter of a few short hours; we were rebooked with another company and on our way to the Las Americas resort in Varaderos, Cuba.
Our time in Cuba was great. We still had a few more hiccups – a sick pilot, a travel delay, and an excursion mess up – but the stay was awesome. Being away from it all with no phones, computers, and being on “Cuban time”, you really get a feeling for complete relaxation. While the food is a little different than ours, there’s always plenty to eat and definitely plenty to drink.
On one of our last nights there, after a lovely dinner and a walk on the moonlit beach, Matthew proposed, I accepted and so started the next leg of our travel journey.
Matthew and I talked a lot about our wedding. We both didn’t want anything big or fancy but fun and simple…out of that came, “Let’s get married in Vegas!” We put a call into Karina to see what information she had in regards to weddings in Las Vegas and then did some research ourselves. In May 2008, we took a quick weekend trip to Las Vegas to see what the hotels had to offer. One thing we realized quickly, the photos on the internet are not the same as in person. Most of the hotels had very friendly wedding advisors however, it was always best to book an appointment in advance to go over the sites and their packages.
On the last day of the trip and a few hours before having to leave for the airport, we still hadn’t found anything that “wowed” us. We were wandered down the strip doing some last minute site-seeing, and on a whim, we went into the Bellagio. We hadn’t even considered looking at weddings there but decided we should check out the chapels anyhow. Upon arriving, we were met by Karen Adams, one of the resort’s wedding consultants. Even though they were booked with appointments and short staffed that day, Karen spent nearly an hour with us going over the details for the Bellagio. This was longer than any of the other consultants had spent with us and we had appointments with them! After seeing the locations, the chapels and the terrace, and then hearing about the packages, we were 97.863% sure that’s where we wanted to get married.
Back in Calgary, we began the preparations for a March 21, 2009 wedding on the Terrazza di Sogno at the Bellagio. There were many emails back and forth between Karen and us but their packages are so inclusive that is wasn’t hard to make arrangements for our wedding. Basically, it was choose your colors, your songs and which flowers you want. Of course I couldn’t leave it at that and had to add a piper into the picture.
Matthew and I both wanted our parents with us as well as the best man and the maid of honour. This gave us a party of nine and we were soon back to see Karina to look at hotel and travel options. Because everyone wasn’t based in Calgary, she had the additional challenge of coordinating all the flights from the different locations and then getting them booked into the same hotel. Being the professional that Karina is, the trip details were planned, coordinated and booked in no time. She was even able to provide us with details of some of the other events going on in Las Vegas at the same time that we were down there so friends and family had some other things to do and see.
We left Calgary on Wednesday, March 18th on West Jet to get some final details done before our guests arrived for Saturday’s wedding. West Jet was great to us. Because Karina had made arrangements in advance, our wedding attire was handled separately as carry on and arrived in Vegas fresh and wrinkle free. The rest of the days leading up to the wedding were a whirl wind but full of fun and adventure; shopping, golfing, gambling and a ladies’ night out. It is Vegas after all.
The Saturday arrived with clear, blue skies and was a beautiful day for a wedding on the Terrazza. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. It was all fabulous…a definite fairy tale to our way of thinking. Everything went smoothly and we were able to enjoy all the moments of it with our families and friends. Matthew and I both agree that even though it looked fancy, we got the fun and simplicity that we wanted.

I recently got married at the Gran Bahia Principe in Riviera Maya. The wedding was amazing. More then we could have ever dreamed of. The service from Keltee at Vision 2000 far exceeded my expectations. Keltee arranged every part of the trip from beginning to end. She was always available when I had questions and went our of her way to find me the answers. I could not have found a better travel agent. If I had to plan my wedding all over again I would not have changed a single thing! We had 30 people come to our wedding and all of them spoke very highly of the service recieved. My family and friends will definatly be using Keltee again for our next vacation! |
